Description
On the inside, you will find a fruity extra virgin olive oil, full of flavour, containing a blend of the three varieties from our Estate – arbequina, hojiblanca and picual – which pairs perfectly with other foods without overpowering them.
ORGANOLEPTIC PROFILE
An oil of medium-high fruitiness, with primarily green notes. An exceptionally fresh, limpid oil which achieves a good balance between the nose and the palate.
On the palate there are leafy green notes along with tomato, banana, apple and green almond, with just a touch of bitterness and a mildly spicy finish.
It is complex, well-balanced and full-bodied.
A finishing oil: the final touch that will improve any dish without overpowering its flavours.
FOOD PAIRINGS
La Cultivada Orgánico is ideal for white fish or grilled shellfish, and will lift the flavour of some simple boiled potatoes. It complements soft curd cheese and the creaminess of Greek yoghurt, and combines surprisingly well with intense, dark chocolate. La Cultivada Orgánico brings together the flavours of different foods without overpowering them due to the lack of bitterness.
Home-made mayonnaise prepared with La Cultivada Orgánico will be totally unforgettable.
It is also particularly well suited to baking and lends itself to the preparation of desserts.
La Cultivada Orgánico provides the perfect finishing touch to:
– White fish or grilled shellfish.
– Boiled potatoes or steamed white asparagus.
– Oven-baked sweet potatoes
– Hummus.
– Beetroot salmorejo (Andalusian chilled soup).
– Roasted vegetables such as pumpkin, red peppers and carrots.
– Vegetable salads such as artichoke or courgette with shavings of parmesan cheese.
– Curd or cottage cheese.
– Greek salad with a yoghurt dressing.
