(English) Cultivating for dry skin
Did you know what treasures for your skin might be hiding in your kitchen cupboard?
Extra virgin olive oil, as well as being one of the most prized components of the Mediterranean Diet, also helps to care for the health and beauty of our skin and hair, thanks to its countless properties and benefits which include being rich in vitamins and proteins. Homemade masks and lotions are a simple, enjoyable way of treating yourself to a relaxing break. All you need are a few spare moments and your extra virgin olive oil.
An ideal facemask for dry skin can be whipped up with two teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil, two teaspoons of yoghurt and half a teaspoon of honey. Mix well together and leave on the face for a quarter of an hour or so. Rinse off with warm water to enjoy the feeling of soft, luminous skin.
