Cultivando la excelencia gastronómica: El Campero, en Barbate.
Roast parpatana of tuna at the El Campero Restaurant, Barbate (Cádiz)
Here you can see the latest culinary creation from El Campero, one of the best restaurants in the province of Cádiz: oven roast parpatana of tuna with spicy vegetable sauce. The parpatana is a cut of bluefin tuna that is located behind the head and next to the pectoral fin.
El Campero’s secret lies in the excellent quality of the products they use, and its highly refined cuisine. All lovers of good food, wherever they come from, will have heard of this gem of a restaurant which is to be found in Barbate.
To talk of El Campero is to talk of the traditional Almadraba fishing, of the Costa de la Luz and of “wild”, delicious bluefin tuna… it is “to talk of tradition and of respect for our coastline and its natural products … but also to talk of Retinto beef and Ibérico pork from the Cádiz countryside, of the vegetables that come from the famous gardens of Conil de la Frontera, of the fortified wines from the vineyards of Jerez, Sanlucar de Barrameda and Chiclana…”
In their own words: “a meal at El Campero, with over forty different bluefin tuna dishes, is a unique experience… one that remains firmly lodged in the memory and on the palate”.
Don’t let slip the chance to try this wonderful dish, and please do send us your comments… a delectable, praiseworthy treat.
