Once again we travelled to Jaén (Andalucía) for Expoliva, where we presented our oils at the International Showroom for selected Extra Virgin Olive Oils (EVOO).
This year the quantity was less but the quality superior, as should be the case with a good EVOO.
We were able to taste prizewinning oils along with sampling others from abroad, produced from olive varieties little known on these shores. We were also delighted to accompany our friend Tomiko Tanaka who received an award from AEMO (The Spanish Association of Olive Growing Municipalities), for her tireless work in promoting the culture of the Olive.
Many well-kown faces from the sector visited our Cultivated corner of the showroom. It was a pleasure for us to meet up with old friends and make some new ones, too.
For now, we leave you with these pictures, hoping to see you again at the next edition of Expoliva, to be held in 2015. We would like to offer our heartfelt congratulations and thanks to the organisers of this event. The International EVOO showroom was characterised by its many positive attributes, its bouquets and flavours: an aromatic atmosphere filled with good taste.
